A large oilfield project in Central Asia required an ultra-large industrial PVC heavy-duty tarpaulin system for equipment protection, wind and snow resistance, long-term outdoor storage, and temporary coverage of large industrial areas.
Due to the harsh operating environment, the customer had extremely high requirements for product quality, low-temperature performance, long-term weather resistance, and ultra-large-size processing capability. The customer spent a long time searching both locally and internationally, but very few manufacturers were capable of producing covers of this scale professionally.
Finally, the customer selected us as their long-term strategic supplier for this project.

· Total Project Value: Approximately USD 9 Million
· Project Execution Period: 3–4 years
The project has now been running successfully for over 2 years.
The biggest challenge of this project was not ordinary PVC tarpaulin production, but large-scale engineering manufacturing capability.
1. Ultra-Large Size Processing
The maximum single-piece size reached:
128m × 98m
This specification is far beyond the capability of ordinary PVC processing factories.
In fact, many workshops are even smaller than one finished cover, making it impossible to complete full unfolding, welding, packaging, and engineering handling operations.
2. Engineering-Level Quality Requirements
The customer focused heavily on:
· Long-term durability
· Welding seam strength
· Low-temperature performance
· Transportation safety
· Ease of future maintenance
Since the products are used in large oilfield engineering projects, any quality issue would result in extremely high repair and maintenance costs on site. Therefore, the customer placed strict requirements on manufacturing processes and quality control.
3. Packaging and Transportation System
Ultra-large industrial covers cannot use ordinary PVC tarpaulin packing methods.
Based on the actual transportation requirements, we designed:
· Heavy-duty wooden case packaging
· Steel transport frames with wheels
· Engineering-grade container loading solutions
These solutions successfully solved challenges related to:
· Transportation of oversized products
· Site unloading
· Secondary transportation
· On-site unfolding and installation

Ultra-Large Engineering Workshop
We operate:
· A 165-meter-long engineering finishing workshop
· Total workshop area of approximately 120,000 square meters
Equipped with:
· Fully automatic large-scale welding equipment
· Automated processing systems
· Heavy-duty lifting equipment
· Engineering-grade packing systems
This allows us to manufacture ultra-large industrial engineering cover systems reliably and consistently.

Before this project, we had already supplied similar large industrial PVC cover systems to:
· European industrial customers
· Oil-producing countries in the Middle East
· Large mining projects
· Energy engineering projects
Therefore, we not only manufacture the products themselves, but also understand:
· Engineering-oriented product design
· Transportation risk reduction
· Efficient on-site installation
· Long-term maintenance cost control
In addition to large industrial covers, the customer also continuously purchases:
· Oilfield PVC protection systems
· Spill containment berms
· Leak prevention systems
· Other industrial oilfield protection products
Both sides have established a long-term and stable cooperation relationship.
